Graiño Team Netherlands likes to offer quality and diversity in the techniques we teach you. Therefore, continuous learning and development of yourself is an important part of being a coach.
Below, I would like to introduce you to some of the people with whom I have regular private lessons to keep my knowledge and skills up-to-date.
John Potenza – Old School Grappling

John Potenza, headcoach of Old School Grappling.
Having been trained and certified as only one of seven Catch Wrestling Assistant Coaches under the legendary Billy Robinson and having studied under world renowned Leg Lock specialist & CSW Founder, Coach Erik Paulson for over 15 years, he has honed his craft and built a reputation as one of the smoothest submission specialists/coaches in the world.
He is currently head coach of Old School Grappling based in the USA, teaching the Catch as Catch Can line of grappling. I am honered to be able to call myself one of his affiliated coaches as of September this year.
Kevin Lloyd - Snakepit Wigan coach

Kevin Lloyd, professional wrestler and Catch-Wrestler. Also Catch-Wrester coach at Snakepit Wigan.
Whenever I am in the UK to train at Snakepit Wigan I always take the opportunity to do a private lesson with Kevin Lloyd. Kevin is an experienced professional wrestler, he practices and teaches catch wrestling from the purest lineage a catch wrestler can have.
Kevin's dedication and love for the sport of catch as catch can wrestling shines through in every lesson he teaches.
Nicola Abbrescia – Greco-Roman Coach
Nicola Abbrescia Greco-Roman coach with several national and international titles to his name.
I take monthly private lessons from him. Nicola is a dedicated greco roman coach with many years of experience. He has coached athletes from many parts of the world. Some of them have been able to achieve great results in the sport thanks to him.
All these years of dedication to the sport have made Nicola a true human encyclopaedia of greco roman wrestling.

Angelo Buter – BJJ en Grappling coach

Angelo Buter, a BJJ and Grappling competitor and coach.
I also have monthly private lessons with Angelo Buter. More often whenever I get the chance. As a young and enthusiastic athlete, active at a high level of the sport, his modern outlook is refreshing and stimulating. His enthusiasm and structured approach are indicative of his style. He helps me understand the new aspects of modern grappling and keep my own skills up to date.
